I\u2019ll be aiming to promote the many good news stories in our sport with a particular focus on some of the dedicated and passionate players and volunteers from around the state.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best thing about the role:<\/strong> There is so much variety in the role but the main attraction is that I get to be a small part in such an enjoyable sport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Previous employment:<\/strong> I was juggling many roles in a variety of sporting and media organisations, including: Tennis Australia, AFL Media, Hockey Victoria, SEN and SBS radio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How long have you been at\u00a0TV:<\/strong> I\u2019m still in my first week at Tennis Victoria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your interests outside of\u00a0TV:<\/strong> My interests include continuing my gymnastics training when I get a chance, watching the Saints in the AFL and staying updated with all of Real Madrid\u2019s matches from their European competitions. I also have a three-year-old nephew so teaching him how to hit a forehand is very enjoyable \u2013 particularly because it\u2019s already better than mine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favourite tennis player\/sporting athlete\u00a0and why:<\/strong> My favourite athlete would have to be Usain Bolt. I was fortunate enough to be in the Olympic Stadium during the London 2012 Olympic Games on the finish line \u2013 a moment I\u2019ll never forget. His achievements are supreme and his showmanship is captivating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you could travel anywhere in the world, where and why:<\/strong>\u00a0I would love to go to Japan. I can\u2019t get enough of Japanese food. And I hear the locals are some of the most polite people in the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What superhero power would you\u00a0like:<\/strong> Being able to fly would have its advantages, especially not having to deal with airport traffic and parking costs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is one interesting fact about\u00a0you:<\/strong> I auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance Australia in 2009.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you could change one thing about Melbourne, what would it\u00a0be: <\/strong>I would love to change or improve public transportation.
