Tennis Victoria are\u00a0excited to announce that\u00a0the\u00a02016 Premier League season prizemoney pool has received a significant\u00a0boost, jumping from $14,000 to $20,000 in the men\u2019s and women\u2019s leagues.<\/p>\n

The league will commence on Sunday 6 March and conclude with the Finals Day on Sunday 17 April.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are sure that the increase in prize money to $20,000 will attract a high quality player field and really cement this league as Victoria\u2019s highest level inter club league,” said\u00a0Tennis Victoria\u2019s Competitions Manager Jeff Downes.<\/p>\n

“Premier League is an important part of our competition pathway within the state, and with the inclusion of the Country All Stars Team and the Country All Stars Super Round in Bendigo,\u00a0the League\u00a0provides a real pathway for country players to the highest level competitions in Victoria,” said Mr. Downes.<\/p>\n
