{"id":14184,"date":"2015-09-28T12:34:57","date_gmt":"2015-09-28T02:34:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/?p=14184"},"modified":"2015-09-28T12:34:57","modified_gmt":"2015-09-28T02:34:57","slug":"victoria-claim-three-nsw-state-titles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/news\/2015\/09\/28\/victoria-claim-three-nsw-state-titles","title":{"rendered":"Victoria claim three NSW State titles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Victoria\u2019s juniors have shown their strength interstate at the weekend, claiming all three boys\u2019 singles titles at the NSW State Championships in Sydney.<\/p>\n<p>Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre played host to over 300 players across the five day event, with Team Victoria taking home the boys\u2019 12\/u, 14\/u and 16\/u singles titles in Aidan Vaughan, Ken Cavrak and Jeremy Taylor.<\/p>\n<p>Future Stars player Aidan Vaughan (Gisborne Tennis Club) fought back from a set down to win his first State title 4-6 6-2 10-7 in the deciding third set tiebreaker, defeating Junyi Tang (NSW).<\/p>\n<p>Ken Cavrak (Essendon) convincingly defeated Nikita Volonski (NSW) 6-1 6-3 while Jeremy Taylor (Balwyn) completing the trifecta defeating Mayez Elrich (NSW) in a fantastic match 6-7 6-3 10-3.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/media\/set\/?set=a.1015212468543430.1073741842.233184260079592&amp;type=3\" target=\"_blank\">Tennis NSW Photo Gallery<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each victor receives a wildcard into the Australian Championships, to be held during December Showdown in Melbourne. <a href=\"http:\/\/tournaments.tennis.com.au\/sport\/tournament.aspx?id=92FD94FA-9777-4DAB-9435-4FCC9D90E1CA\" target=\"_blank\">View the full list of winners and results.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The championships continue with the 12\/u, 14\/u and 16\/u doubles titles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Victoria\u2019s juniors have shown their strength interstate at the weekend, claiming all three boys\u2019 singles titles at the NSW State Championships in Sydney.
