The 2013 Victoria Premier League (VPL) fixtures have today been announced.<\/p>\n
The 2013 season will feature a Super Round fixture for the very first time with all round matches played at one venue and each club given the opportunity to host a Super Round. This fixture format provides each club with a showcase event and a golden opportunity to market themselves to club members and the broader local community.<\/p>\n
The depth of quality players that have signed up and the number of team submissions received by\u00a0Tennis Victoria\u00a0for the VPL is very encouraging and full endorsement to the innovative changes introduced for the 2013 competition. These changes include the offering of prize money, decrease in minimum player squad size, shortened match format of 2 doubles and 4 singles rubbers, introduction of Friday night fixtures and showcasing top level competition in Country Victoria with the inclusion of a Country All Stars team in the men\u2019s competition.<\/p>\n
