The Torrens Tennis Club is situated between Beasley Street and Batchelor Street in the suburb of Torrens, Canberra.
The Club’s two courts are located to the east of the Torrens Development Association Hall and access is available from both streets.
The Club was formed in the early 1970’s as an offshoot of the Torrens Development Association (TDA).
The Club is an independent body with its own management committee, constitution and rules. The Club’s objectives include ‘promoting tennis in a social atmosphere for the benefit of members‘, providing the residents of Torrens and surrounding suburbs with a centrally located sporting facility for their enjoyment. The club is affiliated with Tennis ACT.
