The 2015 Tathra Tournament was played over the weekend and despite the lower number of entries there was some great tennis played, and many enjoyable hours of tennis to either watch or participate in. The results below are an indication of the level of entries, with many of the players returning here year after year. As pictured below Myrtle Boate was here again to support her son and Grandson, who played (and won,the B doubles-Peter and Jack Ewart) Myrtle played in the first Tathra tournament 51 years ago. Many other families also competed in our friendly tournament, meeting again after the last years
On Saturday all the games were played in a round robin format to give players plenty of game time Winners- Mens Open Doubles Michael Tabisz from Canberra Kippax club, and Ben Tedman from CBR- Kambah club with R/up- Denis Love and Robert Warren from Bega

MENS SPECIAL DOUBLES winners- Zac Burhop from Tathra, and Paul Warren from Bega with R/up-Dale Schmid from Wagga, and Gavin Shepherd from Batemans Bay
On SUNDAY, all the singles rounds were played with the first match finished was the U/14S BOYS

MIXED SPECIAL DOUBLES was played AS A round robin- Winners: Paul Warren from Bega and Rochelle Hogan from Royal Tennis Club (CBR) with runners up : Tom and Sally Connelly from Weston Creek.
The winner of the raffle was Abby Freimanis from Cooma, who was lucky to win both first and second prize of a Dunlop tennis raquet and racket bag, the third prize winner was Mathew Moxon also from Cooma
The Inaurgral Country vs Coast Trophy, where the players were evenly put into either category depending on where their home club was, then the winner of each game was allocated one point for winning, to give added motivation to the day. The winner for the whole weekend was the Country. The trophy will be engraved and put on display at the clubhouse
