Geilston Bay Tennis Club<\/strong> played host to a high-scoring\nafternoon of SRT Logistics Premier League action, with a number of matchups\ngoing down to the wire on yet another sunny Saturday in the south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunshine <\/strong>Main St. Financial Solutions<\/em> produced the upset of the day, claiming their maiden win of the inaugural season over a more-fancied Glenorchy <\/strong>Stringlab <\/em>outfit to rocket into fourth place on the ladder with one round to play.\u00a0 Shaun Thomas was pivotal for the victors in his league debut, with Edison Lee and Rowan Kerr providing strong doubles support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Geilston Bay <\/strong>Tassie Awards & Trophies<\/em> battled hard to take the points over Domain <\/strong>Two-Folk Espresso<\/em>, with the settled lineup of Sam Edgar, Jack Derrick and George Anderson yet again paying dividends to ensure the Eastern Shore side remains in second place with one round of competition to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Domain <\/strong>Whisk & Co Caf\u00e9<\/em> remain undefeated after claiming the narrowest of wins over Geilston Bay <\/strong>Ace Tennis Coaching<\/em>, with just a single game the difference between the two sides. Edward Bourchier was again the standout performer for the Domain side, while Tony Blom was classy in defeat for the Ace Tennis Coaching<\/em> team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final regular season round will be held at the Domain Tennis Centre <\/strong>this Saturday 28 November, with third-placed Geilston Bay <\/strong>Ace Tennis Coaching<\/em> still able to make the final should they claim a comprehensive win over Domain<\/strong> Two-Folk Espresso<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019ll be hoping for Glenorchy <\/strong>Stringlab <\/em>to conjure up a strong win over fellow Geilston Bay side Tassie Awards & Trophies<\/em> for this to remain a possibility.\u00a0 Domain <\/strong>Whisk & Co Caf\u00e9 <\/em>will be looking to make any adjustments required ahead of the finals in a fortnight when they meet Sunshine<\/strong> Main St. Financial Solutions<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
