{"id":9540,"date":"2020-11-19T16:11:33","date_gmt":"2020-11-19T05:11:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/tas\/?p=9540"},"modified":"2020-11-19T16:41:13","modified_gmt":"2020-11-19T05:41:13","slug":"leader-emerges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/tas\/news\/2020\/11\/19\/leader-emerges","title":{"rendered":"Leader emerges following Round 3 of Premier League  action"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The third round of the inaugural SRT Logistics Premier\nLeague was held in humid conditions at Sunshine Tennis Club, with just one club-affiliated\nteam remaining undefeated at the end of Saturday\u2019s play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aiming to chalk up their maiden win on home turf, <strong>Sunshine<\/strong> <em>Main St. Financial Solutions<\/em> ultimately fell short against <strong>Domain<\/strong> <em>Two-Folk Espresso<\/em>, with the Western Shore side\u2019s Casey Ambler, Ben Fergusson and Joab Littler combining for a convincing afternoon of results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a battle of the two <strong>Geilston Bay<\/strong> teams, <em>Tassie Awards &amp; Trophies<\/em> emerged victorious over club mates <em>Ace Tennis Coaching<\/em>, handing the previously undefeated ladder-leaders their first loss of the season in the process.&nbsp; Sam Edgar led from the front for the victors, claiming wins in both the singles and doubles lines, with Jack Derrick and Lachlan Brown providing valuable support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Domain<\/strong> <em>Whisk &amp; Co Caf\u00e9 <\/em>continued their strong form, claiming all four rubbers in their match-up against <strong>Glenorchy<\/strong> <em>Stringlab<\/em>.&nbsp; Edward Bourchier and Jakob Haas again were standout performers, with Dave Hoppitt combining with the aforementioned duo to feature in two comprehensive doubles wins respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"715\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/tas\/files\/2020\/11\/Webp.net-resizeimage-64-1024x715.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9542\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/tas\/files\/2020\/11\/Webp.net-resizeimage-64.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/tas\/files\/2020\/11\/Webp.net-resizeimage-64-768x536.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The upcoming weekend will see Round 4 of competition held at the <strong>Geilston Bay Tennis Club<\/strong>, with second-placed <strong>Geilston Bay<\/strong> <em>Ace Tennis Coaching<\/em> to host a top of the table clash against the immovable <strong>Domain<\/strong> <em>Whisk &amp; Co Caf\u00e9<\/em> outfit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other match-ups, Geilston Bay Tassie Awards &amp; Trophies will meet Domain Two-Folk Espresso while Glenorchy Stringlab will take on Sunshine Main St. Financial Solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The weekend will also double as a Sponsor Appreciation Day to thank the seven local businesses involved in the inaugural SRT Logistics Premier League for their generous support this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full results and standings for players with a Match Centre account are available <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/matchcentre.tennis.com.au\/divisions\/32587\">HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESULTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Domain<\/strong> <em>Whisk &amp; Co.
