Rosny Park Tennis Club is preparing for a weekend of non-stop tennis.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the completion of its deck and awning project, the club is hosting a 24-hour tennis-a-thon from 8am on Saturday 30 March to 8am on Sunday 31 March. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome to be involved, with a number of ticketed events included to help raise money for Melanoma Tasmania.<\/p>\n

City of Clarence mayor Doug Chipman will attend, making a presentation at 4pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The club will also run a raffle throughout the tennis-a-thon and offer spot prizes for participants and spectators. Everyone is encouraged to dress up, with prizes for the best dressed.<\/p>\n

A silent action includes items signed by Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal.<\/p>\n

Melanoma Tasmania, a local not-for-profit organisation, will also be on site and offering UV skin damage checks for a gold coin donation.<\/p>\n

Kiosk and barbecue food will be available, with Devonshire Tea served between 3pm – 5pm.<\/p>\n
