The 2016 Junior Development Series kicked off over the months of February and March, with close to 100 players participating in two tournament blocks across Tasmania.<\/p>\n

Tournament Block South 1<\/span> saw events held at Geilston Bay Tennis Club; Domain Tennis Centre; Sunshine Tennis Club; concluding at Lindisfarne Memorial Tennis Club with the Masters event, where the top 8 in each age group were invited to compete for automatic qualification into the Tassie Showdown later in the year. Likewise, Tournament Block North 1<\/span> saw events held at Burnie Tennis Club; Riverside Tennis Club; Launceston Regional Tennis Centre; with the Masters event held at Trevallyn Tennis Club.<\/p>\n
