Harry Bourchier from Kingston has taken home the coveted Easter Gold Cup Bronze AMT over March 29-31. Harry, who currently resides and trains with the national academy in Melbourne completed a clean sweep by claiming the doubles title with Andrew Youl (Launceston).<\/p>\n
Bourchier swept thrrough his preliminary rounds before he faced a stern test in the\u00a0final against\u00a02nd seeded Elliot Johnstone (Burnie). In a see-sawing opening set Bourchier was able to squeek through with a 7-5 scoreline. From here Bourchier was quick to take control and finish the match 7-5, 6-1. After his triumph in the singles Harry partnered Andrew Youl to victory in the AMT doubles. Agian the teams biggest test was against brothers Elliot and Alex Johnstone\u00a0eventually prevailing 6-2, 6-2.<\/p>\n
