The day was conducted by Tennis Tasmania\u2019s Community Tennis Officer, Alex Jago, and National Coach Tasmania, Simon Youl with the aim of bringing together players to introduce them to a fun and friendly environment showcasing the MLC Hot Shots pathway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe day was a huge success for the kids, parents and coaches that were involved\u201d said Jago, \u201cIt\u2019s great to see kids playing with a smile on their face and the modified equipment definitely makes it more enjoyable for the players and parents can see the development of their kids too\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The day provided timed, modified matches for players in the MLC Hot Shots categories of Red, Orange and Green balls.<\/p>\n<p>With the success of this program it is hoped to be a regular fixture on the Tennis Tasmania calendar.
