They have also assisted in raising the public profile of 30+ Seniors Tennis through excellence in playing performance, administration or both. They have an appropriate and commendable attitude both on and off the court and exhibit a high level of integrity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Congratulations to the 2024 finalists<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jon Aufder-Heide<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With over 60 years of competitive tennis experience, Jon has been a key figure in Tasmanian Seniors&#8217; tennis for 30 years, serving as Vice President, State Selector, and representing Tasmania on the Australian Seniors Executive Board (2022). He\u2019s won over 50 State Senior Titles and holds a record 12 Arthur Matthews Player of the Year Awards. Recently, Jon achieved top results, including a bronze medal at the Australian Masters Championships (2023) and winning the Over 65 Tasmanian title. He\u2019s a Life Member of Domain Tennis Centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Shaun Summers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shaun Summers is a highly ranked senior tennis player, with Australian and ITF world rankings in the over-40s division. He won multiple titles in 2023-2024, including the Altona (Vic) 45+ NRT7 and Ballarat 45+ NRT6. In 2017, he represented Australia in the Italia Cup (Young Seniors World Championship) in Cape Town, helping the team achieve their best result in years. As a dedicated administrator, Shaun has revitalised senior tennis in Tasmania, organising major events and serving as a leader in the tennis community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stephen Dance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stephen Dance\u2019s Senior 30+ career began 10 years ago, and has since flourished, having won a number of titles and accolades. He has achieved considerable national and international success, including reaching a career high ranking in the over 65s of 3 in single and 1 in doubles and mixed doubles. A two time Masters World Champion, Dance has represented Australia seven times, twice as captain.
