Ever wondered how you can let them know they are appreciated? You can! Nominate them for an award &#8211; the <em>Premier&#8217;s Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Volunteer Service.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This award provides an opportunity for volunteer-involving organisations and community groups to recognise and reward excellence and significant achievements by nominating one or more of their volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>South Australian based volunteer-involving organisations and community groups are encouraged to nominate one or more of their volunteers to recognise and reward excellence and significant achievements.<\/p>\n<p>Submit your nomination for this certificate to award at an occasion such as National Volunteers Week, on Volunteers Day, at an Annual General Meeting, or a special morning\/afternoon tea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Office for Volunteers will consider all nominations for volunteers who have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>significantly contributed to the community through their ongoing commitment and dedication to volunteering<\/li>\n<li>demonstrated leadership and promoted volunteering within the community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nominating is easy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>read the Premier&#8217;s Certificate of Recognition for outstanding volunteer service\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ofv.sa.gov.au\/__data\/assets\/pdf_file\/0006\/39516\/Guidelines_2016-Premiers-Certificate-of-Recognition-for-Outstanding-Volunteer-Service.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">guidelines<\/a> <\/strong>(PDF 141KB)<\/li>\n<li>complete the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fs4.formsite.com\/OfficeforYouth\/form61\/form_login.html\" target=\"_blank\">online nomination form<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who can apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>South Australian based volunteer-involving organisations and community groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nominations close 5pm, Friday 1 April 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information, please contact: Office for Volunteers on 1300 014 712 or via email <a href=\"mailto:ofv@sa.gov.au\" target=\"_blank\">ofv@sa.gov.au<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do your volunteers go above and beyond?
