Please see below the events being held across the state:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>City of Playford AMT<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>15-19 February<br \/>\nBicentennial Tennis Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starting yesterday.\u00a0this event has over 100 participants with around 25% from interstate and overseas. It is set up as a lead in for the 2016 Nyrstar Port Pirie Tennis International. Tennis SA and Tennis Australia are partnering with the City of Playford to provide $10k in prizemoney.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2016 Nyrstar Port Pirie Tennis International<br \/>\n20-28 February<br \/>\nPort Pirie and District Tennis Association\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Nyrstar Port Pirie Tennis International is being held for 25<sup>th<\/sup> consecutive year in 2016. The event is Australia\u2019s longest running Pro tour event and will see men and women competing for $30k USD in prizemoney and WTA and ATP ranking points.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2016 Seaside AMT Gold<br \/>\n6-9 March<br \/>\nSeaside Tennis Club\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AMT Gold with $7,500 in total prizemoney being provided to players from across South Australia and interstate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Development Series events\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2016 Tea Tree Gully February JDS \u2013 Feb 21<\/li>\n<li>2016 Barmera March JDS \u2013 March 5<\/li>\n<li>2016 ETKG March JDS \u2013 March 6<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>State League Finals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The State League finals will be commencing on 27 February and will conclude with the Grand Final being played at Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Saturday 12 March. We will be holding a BBQ and opening the North Stand Caf\u00e9 for the Grand Finals. Spectators are encouraged to come along to see some great tennis action.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>State League and Metro League presentation night<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>State League\/Metro League presentation night will be held at the Coopers Alehouse on Friday 15\u00a0April.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adelaide Club Championships<br \/>\n28\u00a0February<br \/>\nPeake Gardens Tennis Club<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a new concept developed in consultation with the Association Junior Coordinators. Each Association is invited to select their two best performed clubs teams in their top division junior competition to compete for the title of Junior Club Champion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compass Draw<br \/>\n14\u2019s &#8211; 21 February, 12\u2019s &#8211; 28\u00a0February<br \/>\nMillswood Tennis Complex\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Teams from across the six major metro Associations enter teams to be part of the Compass draw teams event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Foundation Cup Regional Tournaments<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following dates have been locked in across Regional SA for the Foundation Cup Regional Tournaments\/Trials.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>West Coast &#8211; 27-28 February<\/li>\n<li>South East &#8211; Sunday 6<span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;line-height: 26.6667px\">\u00a0<\/span>March<\/li>\n<li>Upper Northern &#8211; 20\u00a0March<\/li>\n<li>Hills\/Murray\/Fleurieu &#8211; 3\u00a0April<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lower Northern and North East will be confirmed in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As we come to the end of the summer seasons around the state, Tennis SA would like to wish all players the very best of luck for the finals season ahead.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South Australia is set for a busy Tournament and Competition period over the next six weeks.
