Day 7 of the City of Onkaparinga ATP Challenger 2016 has been a beautiful day at Happy Valley for singles quarter-final and doubles semi-final day.<\/p>\n
The day kicked off with number eight seed Taylor Fritz<\/strong> (USA) defeating South Australia\u2019s Alex Bolt<\/strong> in a tight match 7-6(5) 6-4. The remaining three quarter-finals were convincing victories with number one seed, Dudi Sela<\/strong> (ISR) defeating Jan Satral<\/strong> (CZE) 6-1 6-0, Andrew Whittington <\/strong>(Vic) taking the win over Dennis Novak<\/strong> (AUT) 6-3 6-3 and Marton Fucsovics<\/strong> (HUN) overcoming Hiroki Moriya<\/strong> (JPN) 6-0 6-3.<\/p>\n In the doubles, second seeds Denys Molchanov<\/strong> (UKR)\/Aleksandr Nedovyesov<\/strong> (KAZ) defeated Dudi Sela<\/strong> (ISR)\/Igor Sijsling<\/strong> (NED) 6-3 6-2 to set up the final against Matteo Donati <\/strong>(ITA)\/Andrey Golubev<\/strong> (KAZ), who defeated [4] Brydan Klein<\/strong> (GBR)\/Peter Polansky (<\/strong>CAN) 2-6 7-6(4) earlier in the day.<\/p>\n Day 8 is singles semi-final day, headlined by Taylor Fritz<\/strong> (USA) taking on Australia\u2019s Andrew Whittington<\/strong> on Centre Court, starting at 11:00am. This match will be followed by Dudi Sela<\/strong> (ISR) taking to the court against Marton Fucsovics<\/strong> (HUN), not before 12:00noon.<\/p>\n
