Klein began confidently, breaking the sixth seed early and keeping him off balance with some aggressive play. However, the 17-year-old \u2013 looking to win his first Futures title \u2013 wouldn’t go away and mixed things up in the second set, enough to disrupt Klein\u2019s power game and level the match. The decider belonged to the top seed however, as he got back on the front foot, using his serve \u2013 he remained unbroken for the match \u2013 to keep Jasika guessing.<\/p>\n
\u201c(Jasika) makes a lot of balls, constructs the points well and makes you really work for every point,\u201d Klein said. \u201cI knew I didn’t want to get into long grinding rallies with him, and I managed to do that.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was trying to step up and hit him off the court from the start,\u201d he added. \u201cHe broke my rhythm a little bit in the second, but in the third I got an early break and really run away with it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The doubles title was won by Aussie second seeds Matt Reid and Carsten Ball who defeated their fellow countrymen, the unseeded pairing of Steven De Waard and Chris O\u2019Connell, 6-4 6-3.<\/p>\n
19-year-old Korean Su Jeong Jang has swept to the 2015 Clare Valley Tennis International title with a straight sets win over Austrian seventh seed Pia Konig.<\/p>\n
The top seed showed too much consistency and class for her 21-year-old opponent, and was barely troubled in the 6-3 6-3 victory. Jang was exceptionally solid throughout the week, with Australian Jessica Moore the only opponent to take a set from her in their quarter final affair.<\/p>\n
