Round one of the main draw was completed yesterday\u00a0at the 2015 Coopers Adelaide International with some scintillating tennis played. The match between No. 3\u00a0seed Matt Reid and rising Aussie young gun Blake Mott did not disappoint with a titanic battle that ended with Reid winning a third set tiebreak to claim the match. 18 year old Marc Polmans also had a struggle against New Zealand qualifier Finn Tearney before he stormed home to win 6-1 in the third while 2014 US Open Junior Champion Omar Jasika spoiled the hopes of South Australian Darren Polkinghorne with a straight sets win.<\/p>\n

The upset of the day came when Victorian teenager Aaron Addison won his first ATP point after beating Tasmanian Harry Bourchier. Addison\u2019s exuberant celebration and excitement was plain to see after he won the third set 6-3.<\/p>\n

Today’s\u00a0second round will see\u00a0more\u00a0exciting tennis with No. 1\u00a0seed Brydan Klein taking on Aaron Addison, Chris O\u2019Connel playing Jacob Grills and in match of the day, youngster Marc Polmans will take on number three seed Maverick Banes.<\/p>\n
