Great Turnout for the London Slam<\/h3>\n

On Monday, 14 July the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots London Slam was held at Henley South Tennis Club in very\u00a0chilly, but dry conditions. The tournament attracted 49 children playing in the Red, Orange and Green Ball divisions.<\/p>\n

In keeping with the Wimbledon theme, the players dressed in white just like the pros and snacked on strawberries and cream during the day.<\/p>\n

In a very close and entertaining final, Hugh Winter defeated Lachlan Sahb 15 points to 14 to win the Orange Ball 8 and Under division. In the Green Ball Boys (9-12 year olds), Ralph Catipay defeated Marcus Torzi 14-8, while in the Green Ball Girls (9-12 year olds) Mia Tsoukalas defeated Georgia Plunkett 15-12.<\/p>\n
