The event attracted some of the best players from across South Australia and Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The Men\u2019s Draw was headlined by Number one seed Lawrence Bataljin along with a host of South Aussies returning from College for their Summer break including <strong>Carl Alberton, Stefan Szacinski<\/strong> and <strong>Nathan Eshmade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the Women\u2019s draw local girl <strong>Nicole Collie<\/strong> was the no. On1seed in what was a strong field including last year QBC winner <strong>Amy Sneath<\/strong> and promising junior <strong>Petra Hule.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Played in surprisingly good conditions for June ,the Men\u2019s singles Championship proved to have a number of upsets early on with No. 1 see Bataljin going down to <strong>John Hal<\/strong>l in the first round and <strong>Kurtis Wilson<\/strong> beating number 2 seed <strong>Li Tu<\/strong> in the Quarter Finals.\u00a0 Making it through to final were Japanese young gun <strong>Yuya Ito<\/strong> and returning College player Szacinski.
