What type of First Aid course do I need to complete to meet the Tennis Australia and National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) requirements?<\/strong><br \/>\nA. Basic First Aid\/Emergency First Aid (Workplace Level 1 HLTFA201A\/HLTFA201B) or Apply First Aid (Senior First Aid Workplace Level 2 HLTFA301B \/ HLTFA301C).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. Who is required to meet the First Aid requirements?<\/strong><br \/>\nA. All Tennis Australia qualified coaches, although we encourage all active coaches to complete a First Aid course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. How do I provide evidence of my First Aid certificate?<\/strong><br \/>\nA. Can I still be a qualified Tennis Australia coach member if my First Aid certificate has expired?<br \/>\n<\/strong>A. No, from 1 July 2012 First Aid will be mandatory for qualified Coach Membership.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. Why does my First Aid certificate need to be renewed every three years?<\/strong><br \/>\nA. It is a requirement in most states and territories that a workplace first aider must renew their First Aid certificate at least every three years to ensure First Aid skills are current.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. My First Aid certificate has expired. Am I still current?<\/strong><br \/>\nA. No, you need to complete another First Aid course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. Do I need to do my CPR every 12 months?<\/strong><br \/>\nA. No, Coach Membership requires you to renew your CPR every 3 years along with your First Aid. However, the Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that CPR be updated every 12 months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. How much does a First Aid course cost?<\/strong><br \/>\nA.
