{"id":4005,"date":"2012-02-15T14:18:58","date_gmt":"2012-02-15T04:48:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?p=4005"},"modified":"2012-02-15T14:18:58","modified_gmt":"2012-02-15T04:48:58","slug":"1-2-million-injected-into-tennis-sa-affiliated-clubs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/news\/2012\/02\/15\/1-2-million-injected-into-tennis-sa-affiliated-clubs","title":{"rendered":"$1.2 million injected into SA tennis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a coup for tennis in South Australia, Tennis SA affiliated tennis clubs have today benefited from the latest round of State Government Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program grants with over $1.2 million in facility funding awarded.<\/p>\n<p>Adam Renfrey, Community Tennis Manager, Tennis SA said \u201cThis is largest amount of grant funding ever received by our affiliated clubs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe $1.2million allocated will ensure Tennis SA can facilitate the development of in excess of $4 million worth of tennis infrastructure projects over the next twelve months on behalf of our affiliates under the Tennis Australia National Court Rebate Scheme\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>With over ten facility developments taking place from Tanunda to Onkaparinga to Gawler the real winner here is the sport of tennis as we will not only have more places to play, but better places to play,\u201d\u00a0 Renfrey said.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis SA affiliated clubs which will benefit from the latest round of funding include;\u00a0 Grange Lawn Tennis Club,\u00a0 Kapunda Tennis Club,\u00a0 Millicent Tennis and Netball Club,\u00a0 Tanunda Tennis Club,\u00a0 Onkaparinga Tennis Club, \u00a0Trinity Gardens Tennis Club,\u00a0 Quorn Tennis , Valley View Tennis Club, West Lakes Tennis Club, Littlehampton Tennis Club and Gawler and District Tennis Association.<\/p>\n<p>The National Court Rebate Scheme has attracted investment of more than $157 million dollars to improve facilities Australia-wide in the last four years.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme is open to affiliated clubs and facilities in Australia.
