{"id":3806,"date":"2011-12-21T07:55:44","date_gmt":"2011-12-20T22:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?p=3806"},"modified":"2011-12-21T07:55:44","modified_gmt":"2011-12-20T22:25:44","slug":"somerton-brings-in-the-big-guns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/news\/2011\/12\/21\/somerton-brings-in-the-big-guns","title":{"rendered":"Somerton brings in the big guns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A NEW-LOOK Somerton Park will be out to exact revenge on unbeaten Rostrevor tomorrow night.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The two teams meet\u00a0in Adelaide&#8217;s National Tennis League grand final at Memorial Drive.<\/p>\n<p>The side will field Luke Saville, Jack Schipanski and Thanasi Kokkinakis who missed the one-set loss to Rostrevor in the minor round.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve done the hard yards to get into the final so we&#8217;re in the ring with a fighting chance,&#8221; Somerton captain Todd Langman said.<\/p>\n<p>Saville will play Rostrevor&#8217;s former international doubles player Todd Perry at No.\u00a01, while Somerton&#8217;s undefeated singles star Todd Ley meets Colin Ebelthite.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s probably better for me to play against the younger guys (like Saville) as I play differently to what they usually see,&#8221; Perry said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>The finalists have booked their spot at Melbourne Park for next month&#8217;s national final and Langman said there was real excitement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;When I told everyone on Saturday (we were top two) they were all pumped up and super excited to play in Melbourne,&#8221; Langman said.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s final, Flagstaff aims to continue its unbeaten run against Trinity Titans.
