{"id":34559,"date":"2026-04-01T12:34:24","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T02:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?p=34559"},"modified":"2026-04-01T12:34:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T02:04:26","slug":"callum-beale-appointed-as-tennis-sa-chief-executive-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/news\/2026\/04\/01\/callum-beale-appointed-as-tennis-sa-chief-executive-officer","title":{"rendered":"Callum Beale Appointed as Tennis SA Chief Executive Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Tennis SA is pleased to announce the appointment of\u00a0<strong>Callum Beale<\/strong>\u00a0as its new\u00a0<strong>Chief Executive Officer and Director &#8211; Venue and Community &#8211;\u00a0Adelaide International<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Returning to South Australia after more than two decades working nationally and internationally in tennis, Beale brings more than\u00a0<strong>30 years\u2019 experience across the sport as a player,\u00a0coach\u00a0and administrator<\/strong>, and joins Tennis SA from Tennis Australia where he has most recently served as\u00a0<strong>Head of Game Expansion<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Beale began his professional administration career in\u00a0performance,\u00a0<strong>coaching and talent development in\u00a0Perth\u00a0in 2010<\/strong>, before progressing through a series of senior leadership roles at Tennis Australia, including\u00a0<strong>Head of Talent &amp; Performance Operations<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Head of Game Development Partnerships<\/strong>. Across these roles, he\u00a0led national\u00a0talent and\u00a0pathway strategies, managed high\u00a0performance programs, negotiated commercial partnerships and worked closely with government,\u00a0industry\u00a0and international governing bodies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In his national role at Tennis Australia, Beale was instrumental in the strategic growth and integration of complementary racquet sports, including\u00a0<strong>Padel, Pickleball and POP Tennis<\/strong>, driving significant participation growth, venue\u00a0integration\u00a0and commercial\u00a0partnerships.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His work saw Tennis Australia become the first Grand Slam to integrate multiple professional racquet sports into the Australian Open, delivering\u00a0strong fan\u00a0engagement and media impact.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tennis SA President\u00a0<strong>Philip Roberts<\/strong>\u00a0said Beale\u2019s appointment followed a competitive national search.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Board is delighted to have Callum join Tennis SA as CEO.
