The team met with local clubs and associations to strengthen relationships, identify growth opportunities and support future planning. New pickleball equipment was even delivered to help broaden the participation offerings in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday saw a vibrant MYP Promotion Day, highlighted by a visit to <strong>Newcombe Award<\/strong>-winning School of the Year, <strong>Maitland Lutheran<\/strong> School. Students jumped into engaging tennis activities designed to spark enthusiasm and build skills. The energy continued into the afternoon with junior matches across multiple venues, before connecting with the senior association to further promote and grow participation.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the team headed south for more community engagement before travelling to <strong>Port Augusta<\/strong> for an engaging coach meeting with Dave Grainger.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday delivered grassroots action at its best. A morning Junior Red Ball Rumble in <strong>Orroroo<\/strong> brought high-energy introductory play to emerging athletes, followed by a day at the<strong> Jamestown<\/strong> Association event, uniting multiple associations in a celebration of regional tennis. The day wrapped up with discussions focused on sustaining momentum across the region and helping communities grow the game.<\/p>\n<p>The tour concluded at the <strong>Kadina<\/strong> Tournament, where an early warm-up session set the tone for a big day of competition for our<strong> State Foundation Cup<\/strong> trials.<\/p>\n<p>From schools to clubs, juniors to seniors, this <strong>Upper Northern and Yorke<\/strong> activation showcased the power of regional tennis.
