Also representing Australia, top seed <strong>James Duckworth <\/strong>and <strong>Jason Kubler <\/strong>celebrated victories, alongside Lucky Loser <strong>Pavle Marinkov<\/strong> (AUS) who battled past fellow Aussie Blake Ellis in a three-set thriller winning 2-6 6-3 6-4. Defending champion <strong>Rinky Hijikata<\/strong> (AUS) moved safely into the next round, joined by fellow Australians, wild card <strong>Tai Sach<\/strong>, <strong>Marc Polmans<\/strong> and <strong>Dane Sweeny<\/strong>. Rounding out the day\u2019s winners were <strong>Karan Singh<\/strong> (IND) and Japan\u2019s <strong>Hikaru Shiraishi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s doubles, Japan\u2019s <strong>Shinji Hazawa<\/strong> and <strong>Taisei Ichikawa<\/strong> claimed a straight-sets victory over their Australian opponents.<\/p>\n<p>Women\u2019s singles action saw international players shine, with <strong>Sijia Wei<\/strong> (CHN), <strong>Ikumi Yamazaki<\/strong> (JPN), <strong>Fangran Tian<\/strong> (CHN) and <strong>Katarina Zavatska<\/strong> (UKR) all booking their spots in the next round. Rising Australian talent <strong>Tahlia Kokkinis<\/strong> impressed with a commanding straight-sets win.<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s doubles, Aussies <strong>Talia Gibson<\/strong> and <strong>Maddison Inglis<\/strong> stormed through their match in just 45 minutes, posting a dominant 6-0 6-0 victory. They were joined in the next round by fellow Australian pairs <strong>Rianna Alame \/ Ava-Monet Sycamore<\/strong> and <strong>Alana Subasic \/ Belle Thompson<\/strong>. <strong>Arina Bulatova<\/strong> and <strong>BoYong Jeong<\/strong> (KOR) defeated the all-Aussie duo Jasmine Adams and Adelaide\u2019s own Diana Badalyan.
