Tennis SA congratulates all teams who competed in the NAB Winter Pennant Grand Finals on Saturday, especially to those who were able to taste premiership glory.<\/p>\n
In the Men\u2019s Premier League, played at Memorial Drive in beautiful conditions for tennis, Trinity Gardens overcame a spirited Woodville Glengarry. In the end Trinity Gardens had a bit too much depth and were able to sneak past WGG.<\/p>\n
In the Women\u2019s Premier League, West Lakes were able to do one better than last year and take out the premiership over Somerton Park. This would be a sweet victory for the ladies out at West Lakes as they went down in a tough loss last year.<\/p>\n
All participating clubs are to be commended for the excellent sportsmanship and spirited competition that was displayed throughout the day.<\/p>\n
Special congratulations go to Rostrevor TC and Trinity Gardens TC who both had 3 teams win their Grand Finals over the weekend making them the two most successful clubs throughout the 2011 Tennis SA NAB Winter Pennant season.<\/p>\n
The Tennis SA NAB Winter Pennant presentations and wrap up will be held at the Millswood Tennis Centre on Sunday September 11th<\/sup> from 2:30-4:30pm.
