Glenlea went on to win the final doubles match in a thrilling tiebreak and claim the premiership by one set.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We just won our fifth title in a row, which is crazy! We did really well this year and throughout the season.&#8221; <strong>Olivia Collins<\/strong>\u00a0from the <strong>Glenlea Tennis Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was so tight, and we only won by a set! It was such a nice day and the crowds were amazing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s competition, <strong>Peake Gardens Riverside<\/strong> took an unstoppable lead after the singles to defeat <strong>Trinity Gardens<\/strong> and claim the premiership, in this State League grand final rematch.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The boys got off to a flying start in the singles matches going 2-0 up pretty early.&#8221; <strong>Will Clifford<\/strong> from the <strong>Peake Gardens Tennis Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was amazing to get the job done, and go back-to-back. A big thank you to the officials and everyone for coming out. It was an electric atmosphere and made it a really special day for the boys.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tennis SA Head of Tournaments and Competitions\u00a0<strong>Dylan Hicks<\/strong>\u00a0was thrilled to congratulate the winning teams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very proud to congratulate our 2023-24 Tennis SA State League champions, Glenlea and Peake Gardens Riverside,\u201d Hicks said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis sees Glenlea take home a fifth consecutive State League title in a nail biter against Memorial Drive.
