{"id":30163,"date":"2023-10-31T23:12:29","date_gmt":"2023-10-31T12:42:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?p=30163"},"modified":"2023-11-01T00:42:50","modified_gmt":"2023-10-31T14:12:50","slug":"community-activities-announced-as-tennis-sa-state-league-all-stars-prepare-to-visit-limestone-coast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/news\/2023\/10\/31\/community-activities-announced-as-tennis-sa-state-league-all-stars-prepare-to-visit-limestone-coast","title":{"rendered":"Community activities announced as Tennis SA State League All Stars prepare to visit Limestone Coast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A host of community engagement activities have been announced to run alongside the <strong>Tennis SA State League All Stars<\/strong> when the event visits Lucindale later this month.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis SA, in conjunction with the <strong>Naracoorte Lucindale Council <\/strong>and<strong> Lucindale Country Club<\/strong>, will host the event on Saturday 25 November 2023.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, locals will join the red and blue teams, with tennis (and golf) matches counting towards an overall community event winner at the end of the day.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the All Stars will be welcomed to town by students from <strong>Lucindale Area School <\/strong>before jumping on court together for a Hot Shots Tennis carnival.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday will begin with <strong>Southern Ports Tennis Association junior competition <\/strong>matches from 9:00 am, where the All Stars will each join a team as an on-court coach\/mentor providing valuable support and advice throughout the morning.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis SA State League All Stars matches will commence at 11:30 am, with <strong>Southern Ports Tennis Association senior competition<\/strong> matches to hit the court alongside the All Stars from 1:00 pm. The local golf competition will also get in on the action, joining the red and blue teams, with points from their competition going towards the overall tally.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>All Stars Kids Zone <\/strong>will be in action throughout the day with Hot Shots Tennis, tennis inflatable, activities and giveaways all on offer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ballkids<\/strong> are set to join the All Stars on court for the first time in 2023. Local children participated in come and try sessions in September with the final squad of 18 now selected.
