Unfortunately, top seed <strong>Thanasi Kokkinakis<\/strong> (SA) was forced to retire from his match with a viral illness.<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s, top seed <strong>Kimberly Birrell <\/strong>(Qld) overcame <strong>Talia Gibson<\/strong> (WA) after a two-hour and-fifteen-minute battle, 3-6 6-3 6-1. While <strong>Emerson Jones\u2019 <\/strong>(Qld) winning streak came to an end at the hands of <strong>Seone Mendez<\/strong> (NSW) 6-2 6-4.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow is singles quarterfinals and doubles semifinals day.
