The second UTR Pro Tennis Tour<\/strong> tournament at Next Generation Memorial Drive has wrapped this afternoon with Monique Barry<\/strong> (NZL) and Dayne Kelly <\/strong>(Vic) claiming the titles.<\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s, Barry defeated last week\u2019s champion Katherine Westbury<\/strong> (NZL) 6-1 7-6(4) in just under two hours to win her maiden UTR Pro Tennis Tour title.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is my first UTR title, so I\u2019m really excited and proud of myself. I had to step up mentally and physically in the second week, but I got through it and I am stoked,\u201d Barry said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a really tough match today. I had a good start in the first set, I felt confident and I was going for my shots. Katherine stepped up in the second set and it was more competitive between the both of us, but I got through it and won those important points.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the men\u2019s, Kelly defeated Ken Cavrak<\/strong> (Vic) 6-3 6-3 in an hour and 20 minutes to claim back-to-back titles.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was good to get through today\u2019s match,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt a bit of pressure with Ken playing so well, he was playing pretty aggressive, so I was happy to get through it. It was good to execute what I wanted to do over the past two weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations to Dayne and Monique, along with Katherine for an outstanding two weeks here in Adelaide,\u201d said Tournament Director, Emily Smith. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have thoroughly enjoyed having the UTR Pro Tennis Tour back in South Australia.<\/p>\n
