The Officiating Ace of the Month recognises an official from across Australia for going over and above.

At the Tennis SA Junior State League grand final, 2021 Chair Umpire program graduate Roger, was scheduled to Chair Umpire two Junior State League matches, but after the late withdrawal of a Level B Chair Umpire Roger offered to step up and umpire an additional match. The next day after being scheduled to Chair Umpire only one match at this higher level, Roger was again asked to do an additional match due to one of the men’s singles matches going for three hours. Not only did he enthusiastically and confidently step up to the plate, but Roger performed extremely well, stepping into the role of what has been in the past the exclusive domain of only experienced Level A and B Chair Umpires.

Women in Tennis

Robyn and Casey are also leading the way, exceeding the expectations as current officials in the Women and Girls Program, not only in South Australia, but nationwide in officiating.

Robyn and Casey, along with other local officials including Taegan White (a former top state Junior player and ballkid), continue to play a critical role in maintaining and increasing female participation in Tennis.

Taegan has recently become accredited as a Court Supervisor after excelling in Line Umpiring.
