We will provide updates as they become available. <\/em><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you\nto the members of our tennis community who have made us aware of their\ncommunications with SAPOL in recent days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following\nextensive discussions with SAPOL and SA Health, we received written\ncommunication from the Deputy Chief Public Health Officer (SA Health) saying as\nfollows: &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are\nnot in a position to provide an exemption for community tennis coaching. While\nI acknowledge the concerns and the impact, the Direction explicitly identifies\nindoor or outdoor community sports fixtures and trainings as a restricted\npublic activity, which includes tennis coaching.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\nmorning, we have asked that this be revisited as a matter of urgency to ensure\nabsolute clarity and consistency for all involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a\nvery difficult time for everyone and as a tennis community, we all need to work\ntogether to ensure we get the best outcomes.
