{"id":21544,"date":"2020-11-17T14:42:12","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T04:12:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?p=21544"},"modified":"2020-11-17T14:42:58","modified_gmt":"2020-11-17T04:12:58","slug":"coronavirus-covid-19-update-17-november-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/news\/2020\/11\/17\/coronavirus-covid-19-update-17-november-2020","title":{"rendered":"Coronavirus (COVID-19) update \u2013 17 November 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Thank you for your patience as we have worked through\nthe latest COVID-19 restrictions affecting our state. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Direction for Public Activities has\nbeen updated\nby&nbsp;South Australian State Coordinator, Commissioner Stevens\n(available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.covid-19.sa.gov.au\/emergency-declarations\/public-activities\">here<\/a>) and is <em>expected<\/em> to be in place\nfor two weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summary of South Australian Public\nActivities COVID-19 Direction (17 November 2020) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Indoor or outdoor community      sports fixtures and trainings&nbsp;must be cancelled (this includes all      organised sport) &nbsp;<\/li><li>Indoor public meetings are      permitted (contact tracing records required) <\/li><li>All activities are subject to      the density requirement (one person per <strong>4<\/strong> square metres) and      physical distancing principle (1.5 metres between people)<\/li><li>Onsite purchase and consumption      of food and beverages is permitted and are only to be consumed by patrons      while seated (the total number of people attending a place must not exceed      100 people, including outdoor seating) <\/li><li>No communal food or beverage      service areas (such as buffets, salad bars or communal water\/beverage      dispensers)<\/li><li>The      total number of persons attending the place does not exceed 100 people      (including outdoor seating)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tennis SA administered competitions <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following Tennis SA administered\ncompetitions have been cancelled for Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>State League<\/li><li>Metro League<\/li><li>Junior State League <\/li><li>Green Ball Junior State League  <\/li><li>SDTA Seniors and Juniors<\/li><li>NETA Juniors<\/li><li>EDTA Juniors<\/li><li>EDTA\/NETA Combined  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We will provide a further update on\nTuesday 24 November for the above listed competitions due to be held on Friday\n27 and Saturday 28 November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Association competitions <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of the competitions listed above, the decision to cancel one week or both weeks of Friday\/Saturday competition will be made by the respective Association. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Casual tennis <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organised community sport is not permitted but you may play tennis at a park, as a recreational activity.
