Whether you want to compete, or fancy playing for fun, there’s something for everyone at the Elderton Tennis Classic.<\/p>\n
Held on Sunday 8 November, the day will be filled with tennis, food and wine, all set in the stunning Barossa Valley.<\/p>\n
So how does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n This is a mixed doubles tournament with Fast4 rules, with great prizes up for grabs, but with the aim of everyone having a fun day of tennis, food and wine in the Barossa.<\/p>\n There are two divisions –\u00a0Here to Win and Here to Wine (based on tennis ability).<\/p>\n Champions take home wine to the value of $1000 (RRP)!\u00a0Plus prizes for runners-up, best dressed and more.<\/p>\n Tennis SA will be heading along providing family activities including our Tennis inflatables!<\/p>\n Some more details:<\/strong><\/p>\n The day begins at 9am at the Nuriootpa tennis courts where you will register.<\/p>\n Around midday the event moves to the Elderton Cellar Door grounds where players and spectators alike can enjoy a glass of wine and a bite to eat.<\/p>\n Take a seat under the shaded pergola, or bring a picnic rug and settle in under a tree. The Elderton pool is open to players and spectators, so bring your cossie to cool down and make a day of this fun, family friendly event.<\/p>\n
