The win sees Duckworth\u2019s ranking climb from 130 to 110.<\/p>\n<p>Duckworth didn\u2019t lose a set on his way to the final, defeating <strong>Alexander Crnokrak<\/strong> (AUS), <strong>Tristan Schoolkate<\/strong> (AUS) and seventh seed <strong>Jay Clarke<\/strong> (GBR) before overcoming third seed <strong>Tatsuma Ito <\/strong>(JPN) in the semifinal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s always nice to win on home soil. I was a little bit disappointed with my week last week, so I wanted to respond well and I think I was able to do that,\u201d Duckworth said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was great to play here with all of the support I was getting. I\u2019m really happy to have won this week and push my ranking up closer to the top 100.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Interview with James Duckworth - Sunday 3 November 2019\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zKnUi-D6hMA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On the women\u2019s side, Sanders continued her singles comeback after a two year hiatus, overpowering third seed <strong>Lizette Cabrera<\/strong> (Qld) 6-3 6-4 to claim her first singles title since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>On her way to the final, Sanders defeated fourth seed <strong>Kaylah McPhee<\/strong> (AUS), <strong>Alexandra Bozovic<\/strong> (AUS), <strong>Naiktha Bains<\/strong> (GBR) and in the semifinals overcame <strong>Chihiro Muramatsu<\/strong> (JPN).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a really good match.
