James Duckworth<\/strong> (NSW) and Storm Sanders<\/strong> (WA) have been crowned the City of Playford Tennis International II Singles Champions, following an outstanding week of tennis action at the Playford Tennis Centre.<\/p>\n

Second seed Duckworth defeated the top seed, Japan\u2019s Yasutaka Uchiyama<\/strong> 7-6(2) 6-4 in the men\u2019s singles final, while Sanders overcame third seed Lizette Cabrera<\/strong> (Qld) 6-3 6-4 in the women\u2019s singles final.<\/p>\n

In the men\u2019s doubles final, the Finnish pairing of Harri Heliovaara<\/strong> and Patrik Niklas-Salminen<\/strong> defeated crowd favourite top seeds, Ruben Gonzales<\/strong> (PHI) and Evan King<\/strong> (USA) 6-4 6-7(4) [10-7].<\/p>\n

On Saturday, top seeds Sanders and Asia Muhammad<\/strong> (USA) claimed the women\u2019s doubles title with a 6-3 6-4 win over third seeds Naiktha Bains<\/strong> (GBR) and Tereza Mihalikova<\/strong> (SVK).<\/p>\n
