crowned 2019 Pizzey Cup champions, four South Australians selected in All-Australian Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Queensland were yesterday announced as the 2019 <strong>Pizzey Cup<\/strong> champions following their dominant display at the week-long competition in Adelaide on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The gold medal winning team finished the rain-interrupted week undefeated, claiming their first Pizzey Cup title since 2006 and ending a ten-year reign of New South Wales over the event.<\/p>\n<p>New South Wales finished in second place and Western Australia took home the bronze.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Pizzey Cup, which doubles as the 2019 School Sport Australia Tennis Championships, saw 115 secondary school students from across the country descend on Adelaide for the prestigious event from Saturday 4 to Saturday 11 May 2019, with matches held at West Lakes Tennis Club and Seaside Tennis Club throughout the week.<\/p>\n<p>South Australia finished fourth with three wins and three losses, with <strong>Stefan Bianchet, Jasmine Adams, Cydney Crumbie <\/strong>and<strong> Chloe Schwarz<\/strong> selected in the\u00a0All-Australian Team.<\/p>\n<p>The Tennis Australia Cup individual event, saw fifth seed <strong>James McCabe<\/strong> (NSW) defeat top seed <strong>Zac Larke<\/strong> (Qld) 7-6 6-2, while second seed <strong>Grace Schumacher<\/strong> (NSW) mounted a second set comeback to defeat top <strong>Lexie Weir<\/strong> (WA) 6-1 6-4 in the girls.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis Australia in conjunction with School Sport Australia and School Sport South Australia joined forces to bring the tournament for kids aged 18 and under to life after the tournament first began in 1963.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Team
