The Australian Made Red Energy Foundation Cup gives kids\u00a0in the 13\/u and 15\/u age groups in rural and regional areas\u00a0(selected from the State Foundation Cup) the opportunity to play on a national stage during the 2019 Australian Open, and was held at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club from 14-17 January 2019.<\/p>\n

The team started with a 2-1 victory over Queensland, followed by 1-2 losses against the Northern Territory and New South Wales.<\/p>\n

Another couple tricky days for\u00a0Team SA<\/span><\/span>\u00a0with a 2-1 win over Western Australia, followed by a very close 1-2 loss against Tasmania.<\/p>\n

The final day saw\u00a0Team SA<\/span><\/span>\u00a0go down to the wire in a close match against Victoria, winning one match tie break and losing another, ending with a 1-2 loss.<\/p>\n

Team SA finished a gallant and competitive fourth with New South Wales taking the win overall.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to all involved, a fantastic effort!<\/p>\n
