Seaside\u2019s Natasha Russell was in strong form with a straight set win over Yasmin Glazbrook while Kingswood\u2019s Nicole Kraemer held her own when she proved too good for Sacha Rankin in straight sets at number Three.<\/p>\n<p>The Drive proved too strong for Glenlea with a six rubber to none win. The Drive\u2019s Melanie Clayton came up against Tayla Whitehouse winning in straight sets. The Drive continued their dominance throughout the tie to highlight their position as competition favourites once again.<\/p>\n<p>Pembroke had an impressive win over Denman six rubbers to none. Pembroke\u2019s number two Mia Tsoukalas got her team off to a good start with a straight sets win over Jacqui Scott. Pembroke were pushed by Denman in Rubbers three and five going down to the third set but were unable to claim a rubber.<\/p>\n<p>In the Men\u2019s competition Glenlea won a tight match over Broadview with the match being decided by five games after rubbers and sets were all tied. Broadview\u2019s Mislav Bosnjak started off with a great win at top single when he took down Jack Schipanski in straight sets. Glenlea responded with singles wins to Josh Boots and Stefan Bianchet. The match went down to the doubles where Glenlea\u2019s Schipanski and Bianchet paired to beat Martin Richards and Asykal Azhar to take out a close tie.<\/p>\n<p>Kingswood continued their impressive start to the season with another close match being decided by two sets after rubber were three all. Kingswood\u2019s Sean Van Rensburg had a great win at top single over Stefan Norodom in straight sets before The Drive hit back with Sebastian Flock having a three set win over Sam Sanderson. Sanderson and Todd McLean then paired to clinch the tie with a straight sets win over Patrick Luke and Kiichi Ishida.<\/p>\n<p>Trinity Gardens proved too strong for Tea Tree Gully, winning four rubbers to two. Trinity Gardens Adam Alessandrini and Tea Tree Gully\u2019s Oliver Taylor had a high class match at Third single with Alessandrini coming out on top 7-5 in the third. Trinity Gardens Oliver Carroll outplayed Rhys Kelly in the fourth singles before pairing up with James Ma to seal a strong win for Trinity Gardens.<\/p>\n<p>Collingrove recorded its second win when overcoming Golden Grove with a five rubbers to one victory. Collingrove\u2019s number three Paddy Douglas beat Scott Pearse in straight sets.
