Number 1 and 2 Patrick Douglas and Edward Winter stood strong with singles wins to give their team off to a good start. Coromandel Valley then put Pembroke away with tight doubles wins with only 1 break of serve in both.<\/p>\n<p>Hahndorf remain undefeated with a win over West Lakes. Noah Phillips got Hahndorf off to a strong start with a 9-4 win over Jake Lukacs. Noah\u2019s team mates also had strong performances with William Taylor and Ralph Catipay winning 9-6 and 9-2 respectively. Michael Skandalis gave West Lakes their first set with a 9-4 win over Jasper Benson. In the end Hahndorf were too strong and ran over the top winning a tight top doubles in a tiebreaker to give Hahndorf the win.<\/p>\n<p>Seacliff continued their strong start when they came up against the Trinity Titans, with a 4 sets to 2 win. Seacliff\u2019s overseas player Nicholas Turtl had a close 9-7 win over Cooper Asquith. Luka Ilic held off Seacliff\u2019s Noah Koeroessy with a close 9-7 win, while Seacliff\u2019s Alexander Despoja and Angus Koeroessy won their singles respectively 9-6 and 9-2 to give Seacliff a 3 sets to 1 lead going into the doubles. In the end Seacliff were too strong, with the top doubles winning 6-2 and giving Seacliff the win.<\/p>\n<p>Glenlea played off against Tea Tree Gully in a very close match. Glenlea got off to an ideal start with Stefan Bianchet and Toby Radford winning their singles 9-3 and 9-5 respectively. Tea Tree Gully bounced back strong with Hamish Bartos and Nathan Catalano both taking out their singles 9-6, to tie it up at 2 sets all leading into the doubles. The doubles once again reflected the singles with the top doubles going to Glenlea 6-1 but Tea Tree Gully came back well and took the second doubles 6-2, but it wasn\u2019t enough with Glenlea clinching the win by 5 games.<\/p>\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statewide.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Statewide Super<\/a> Girl\u2019s competition had Pembroke and Seaside play the match of the round. Meeka Marshall got Pembroke off to an ideal start with a very close 9-8 win over Tully Richter. Seaside\u2019s Chloe Schwarz had a comfortable win over Juliette Robinson 9-4 to get Seaside on the board early. With the number 3 singles going to Pembroke and number 4 singles going to Seaside, the match was tied at 2 sets all. Meeka Marshall and Juliette Robinson won a close top doubles 6-4 for Pembroke but Seasides Madison Schwartz and D\u2019Estree Colanancia got over the line 7-5, which was the deciding games giving Seaside the win by 1 game.<\/p>\n<p>Hahndorf had a dominant win over Collingrove winning 5 sets to 1. Hahndorf got off to the ideal start winning their first 3 singles lead by Kara Tscharke winning 9-0. Heading into the doubles, Hahndorf once again were too strong winning both doubles 6-2 and 6-3 sealing a convincing win over Collingrove.<\/p>\n<p>Seacliff were once again too strong winning 6 sets 0 over Peake Gardens and yet to drop a set in the first 2 rounds. Jasmine Adams had another strong win beating Mia Tsoukalas 9-4. Peake Gardens struggled to get into the game with all 3 other singles going down convincingly.
