Reutlinger\/Smith then made their way through to the semi finals with a straight sets victory over <strong>George Anderson<\/strong> (Tas)\/<strong>Toby Everard<\/strong> (Qld) 6-0 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>In the girls, the top seeds [1] <strong>Jessie Culley\/Taylah Preston<\/strong> (WA) and [2] <strong>Sienna Leeson\/Ashlee Narker<\/strong> (NSW) made their way through the first two rounds with convincing straight sets victories.<\/p>\n<p>In the 14\/u Boys Doubles, South Australia&#8217;s former 12\/u Australian Grasscourt Singles Champions <strong>Edward Vo<\/strong> and <strong>Edward Winter<\/strong>\u00a0have paired up as the first seeds. They were pushed to their limits in their first match, eventually defeating <strong>Lachlan Rook<\/strong> (NSW)\/<strong>Charlie Vinen<\/strong> (Vic) 7-6 (4) 4-6 10-6, before making their way through the quarterfinals with a straight sets victory.<\/p>\n<p>In the 12\/u Girls, top seeds <strong>Emily Ioannou<\/strong> (Vic)\/<strong>Taylah Lawless<\/strong> (NSW) made their way through their first match comfortably against <strong>Eva Lozitskaya\/Tia Vuk-Luboya<\/strong> (NSW) 7-5 6-0, but were defeated in the quarterfinals by <strong>Shanelle Iaconi<\/strong> (WA)\/<strong>Cassidy Mataia<\/strong> (Qld) 7-5 7-5, while second seeds <strong>Talia Gibson<\/strong> (WA)\/<strong>Jessica-Jade Haylo<\/strong> (Qld) made their way through to the semifinals dropping just five games in their first two matches.<\/p>\n<p>Day 4 will see South Australia\u2019s <strong>Winter, Vo, Ralph Catipay <\/strong>and<strong> Mia Tsoukalas\u00a0<\/strong>all take part in main draw singles quarterfinals with matches starting at 9.00 am, followed by main draw doubles semifinals from 1.00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Updated singles draws, doubles draws and schedule for Thursday 12 April now available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/2HmTW01\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Day 3 was certainly not the nicest weather for tennis, but the first two rounds of doubles have been completed at the\u00a02018 12\/u and 14\/u Australian Grasscourt Championships.
