{"id":14578,"date":"2018-02-27T11:25:41","date_gmt":"2018-02-27T00:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?p=14578"},"modified":"2018-09-26T14:19:13","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T04:49:13","slug":"ken-mcgregor-foundation-receives-major-donation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/news\/2018\/02\/27\/ken-mcgregor-foundation-receives-major-donation","title":{"rendered":"Ken McGregor Fund receives major donation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ken McGregor Fund has benefited by receiving an amazing donation of $10,000 thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/all.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adelaide&#8217;s Longest Lunch<\/a>, which was held in November last year.<\/p>\n<p>Event organisers,\u00a0Kristen Raison and\u00a0Rilka Warbanoff, worked with Presenting Partner &#8211; Lexus, and Major Sponsors &#8211; InterContinental, Adelaide Casino, Freerange Future and Savenio Travel &amp; Cruises to help attract nearly 600 people to enjoy a delicious lunch from 12 different\u00a0SA local restaurant chefs accompanied with wine by Molly Dooker on Adelaide&#8217;s 270m pedestrian bridge across the Torrens.<\/p>\n<p>Rick Baldock, Chairperson of The Ken McGrgegor Fund is &#8220;thrilled to have received such a generous amount and the we look forward to passing on valuable funds to assist our\u00a0talented juniors and athletes with a disability who play tennis in SA, with the opportunity to take their tennis to a new level nationally and internationally.
