Happy Valley 3-29<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Round 11 of the girls JSL commenced with a super round at Seacliff.\u00a0 First up was Goodwood taking on the talented Happy Valley side.\u00a0 The two sides were very evenly matched with Evans (Happy Valley), Kristo (Goodwood), McColl (Goodwood) and Nancarrow (Happy Valley) making it two rubbers a piece at the conclusion of the singles.\u00a0 Evans and Weatherall fought out a close first doubles, getting the win for Happy Valley (7-6).\u00a0 However, Williams and Kristo got the win for Goodwood in the second double (6-0) and, thereby getting the win for Goodwood in the match on games only.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Hahndorf 3-37 def. by West Lakes 3-40<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The second match up of the girl\u2019s super round saw another tight tussle take place.\u00a0 The Schwarz sisters showed the talent West Lakes have at their disposal with Chloe (9-5) and Madison (9-3) getting them off to the perfect start.\u00a0 Anne-Marie Savas then continued the run for West Lakes with a cliff hanger (9-8).\u00a0 From there though Hahndorf well and truly turned the tables with Smith (9-7), and the Robinson\/Tobin, and Hughes\/Smith combinations bringing it to a 3 rubber tie, with West Lakes sneaking over the line by a meagre 3 games.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Peake Gardens-Riverside 1-23 def. by Seacliff 5-44<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The home side wrapped up the super round with an impressive display against Peake-Gardens Riverside.\u00a0 Seacliff welcomed back young superstar Charlotte Kempaners-Pocz with open arms, who got them off to a great start (9-1).\u00a0 Harper (9-7) followed suit, however, Tsoukalas provided some resistance for the away side with some great shots on display (9-5).\u00a0 From there though Seacliff showed why they are top of the table, with Bennett (9-2), and Kempaners-Pocz\/Harper (6-0) and Riessen\/Bennett (6-4) showing why they are the team to beat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior State League Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Seaside 3-31 def. by Peake Gardens-Riverside 3-36<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We saw an absolute epic here with Seaside hosting Peake Gardens.\u00a0 Cahill was on fire for Peake early with a strong (9-2) victory in the top single.\u00a0 Dobrovolski bounced back for Seaside (9-5), with Despoja (9-0) dominant for Peake.\u00a0\u00a0 Henry Pilkington then tied it up at the conclusion of the singles with a (9-2) win for Seaside.\u00a0 Cahill\/Taylor were super in the top double for (Peake), however, Lambert\/Pilkington were just as good for Seaside in the second double (7-5).\u00a0 At the end of the night Peake found themselves on the right side of the ledger, with a 5 game win.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Trinity 6-48 def. Hahndorf 0-17<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trinity really flexed their muscles in the second match of the round as they hosted a disappointing Hahndorf outfit.\u00a0 Waterman at the top was strong as usual (9-4), while Grohbruegge (9-0), Ilic (9-7), and Wu (9-2) made the singles clean sweep for the Titans.\u00a0 Waterman\/Grohbruegge (6-1) and Ilic\/Wu (6-3) made it a clinical evening\u2019s work for Trinity and showed why they are one of the top sides in this year\u2019s competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Glenunga 0-18 def. by Seacliff 6-48<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Is this match up Seacliff continued their strong pre-Christmas form with an intimidating display, which showed they may be a dark horse for the premiership.\u00a0 Bianchet was classy in the top single (9-1), while Talladira (9-6), Daminato (9-5) and Brain (9-0) showed the strength that Seacliff have at their disposal.\u00a0\u00a0 Bianchet\/Talladira (6-4 and Daminato\/Brain (6-2), made it 6-zip to the away team as they continue their march towards the finals.\u00a0 Glenunga unfortunately, are going to find it hard to make the four now, and will be looking to bounce back strongly next week.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Tea Tree Gully 0-23 def. by Coromandel Valley (6-49)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tea Tree hosted flag favourites Coro in the final matchup of the round.\u00a0 In what was expected to be a close battle, Tea Tree Gully had a down night, while Coro showed why they are currently the best in the business.\u00a0 Van Rensburg got the better of Dale \u2018The Sheriff\u2019 Nixon in the top single (9-2), and Coro continued that momentum throughout.\u00a0 Olley Douglas (9-5), Sam \u2018The Glue\u2019 Sanderson (9-5) and Edward Winter (9-3) were nothing short of excellent, for another Coro singles clean sweep.\u00a0 Van Rensburg\/Sanderson (6-3) and Mascione\/Douglas (7-5) finished another dominant display for the Coro juggernaut, while Tea Tree Gully will be keen to bounce back quickly to stay in the race for a top two position.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; Player of the Year \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/files\/2018\/02\/Player-of-the-Year-Official-Ladder-17_18-Round-11.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Round 11 leader board<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Round 12 Phantom Tipsters Tips<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\"><strong>Boy\u2019s Tips<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"300\"><strong>Girl\u2019s Tips<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Coromandel Valley<\/td>\n<td width=\"300\">Seacliff<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Seacliff<\/td>\n<td width=\"300\">West Lakes<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Hahndorf<\/td>\n<td width=\"300\">Peake Gardens-Riverside<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Tea Tree Gully<\/td>\n<td width=\"300\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Junior State League Girls\u00a0 Goodwood 3-38 def.
