For those who frequent the venue, you will see some new faces around and we invite you to introduce yourselves to Venue Manager, <strong>Julian Murphy*<\/strong> and Head Coach, <strong>Aymeric Mara*.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Julian<\/strong> has spent the past six years working at Tennis World and has worked every job in the organisation from Duty Manager to Customer Service Coordinator. Julian\u2019s heavy involvement in the daily operations of Tennis World\u2019s leading venue, Melbourne Park (home of the Australian Open), has him ready to take on this exciting opportunity at Millswood.<\/p>\n<p>As Venue Manager, Julian takes great pride in his work to ensure operations are run efficiently, but also give his staff the right tools to deliver premium customer service to members and coaching students.<\/p>\n<p>Among his many interests Julian is a diehard Richmond supporter rarely missed a game when he was living in Melbourne. Julian\u2019s other involvements include umpiring senior and junior football on Sunday afternoons, and coaching young and upcoming umpires when he can.<\/p>\n<p>However, those keen to get some experienced coaching tips will need to wait until Monday 24 July as new head coach <strong>Aymeric<\/strong> will be playing for Vanuatu at a Davis Cup tie in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>Aymeric joined the Tennis World Coaching Team in 2014 as one of Tennis World\u2019s Senior Coaches. A fluent speaker of the French language, Aymeric is determined and ready to bring his extensive playing and coaching experience to Millswood.<\/p>\n<p>He grew up in Vanuatu and has spent time training in France and in Brisbane at Pat Cash\u2019s academy. Aymeric has competed in four Pacific Oceania Davis Cup ties, competed in two Australian Open ATL tournaments representing Pacific Oceania as a player and a coach.<\/p>\n<p>Aymeric\u2019s coaching philosophy is to develop players technically not only on but also mentally off the court, with a focus on attitude and confidence.
