At number two singles Seaside\u2019s Tahlia Van Der Eerden outlasted The Drive\u2019s Melissa Beadman in three tough sets. Seaside young guns Tully Richter and Maggie Pearce continued their strong season with wins at 3 and 4.<\/p>\n<p>Melanie Clayton managed to register The Drives only singles win with a tough three set win over Selina Turulja in a high quality affair. Seaside only needed one set in the doubles to clinch the tie and move through to the State Legaue Grand Final.<\/p>\n<p>Glenlea will meet The Drive in the preliminary final after they had a resounding four rubber to love win over Kingswood. Glenlea\u2019s Olivia Ley was too strong for Natasha Russell at top single while the inform Tayla Whitehouse was too consistent for Nicole Kraemer.<\/p>\n<p>Kingswood will be disappointed with the results but will be happy with their efforts to make the State Legaue finals after a disappointing 2015\/16 season.<\/p>\n<p>Glenlea\u2019s men have beaten Trinity Gardens in a tight match to move through to the Grand Final. Glenlea number one Damian Farinola got his team off to a strong start when he overcame Li Tu 6-4 6-4 in a high standard match. Trinity Gardens vetreran Andrew Tavella struck back for the Titans when he defeated Brock Meuris 6-3 6-1.<\/p>\n<p>Glenlea\u2019s experienced duo of Stephen Clasholm and Ben Mooney got Glenlea over the line when they both registered hard fought singles wins over opponents Charlie Nicholas and Scott Hughes at 3 and 4 single.<\/p>\n<p>Trinity Gardens will now face Broadview who managed to edge out Kingswood\u2019s men by one set in a State League Finals epic. Kingswood number one Sean van Rensburg outclassed Broadview Corey Decandia to get his team away to a strong start before Broadview veteran Martin Richards levelled the match at 1 all after he defeated Josh Laka in straight sets.<\/p>\n<p>Rubbers 3 and 4 were split with Broadview\u2019s Kurtis Willson and Kingwood\u2019s Todd McLean both having wins under the intense finals pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Kingswood got ahead in the tie when Van Rensburg and Sam Gericke won the top double in resounding fashion 6-1 6-1.
