{"id":10444,"date":"2016-05-13T10:12:56","date_gmt":"2016-05-13T00:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?p=10444"},"modified":"2016-05-13T10:12:56","modified_gmt":"2016-05-13T00:42:56","slug":"fisher-wins-city-of-adelaide-sports-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/news\/2016\/05\/13\/fisher-wins-city-of-adelaide-sports-award","title":{"rendered":"Fisher wins City of Adelaide Sports Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Rohan Fisher who last night was awarded City of Adelaide Sports Awards &#8211; Beyond Bank Coach or Official of the Year!<\/p>\n<p>Rohan has been instrumental in developing and managing SA&#8217;s first National Academy at Tennis SA over the past 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>During this period, he has been directly involved in helping SA produce 14 x Junior Singles National Champions, 24 x Junior Doubles National Champions, 3 x Junior Australian Open Grand Slam Championship Winners and one Junio<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">r Australian Open Grand Slam Championship Finalist (Thanasi Kokkinakis).<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Rohan also coached the 2015 Junior Fed Cup team to a top four finish, Bojana Bobusic to win an Australian Open Wild Card playoff tournament and was recently appointed to Tennis Australia&#8217;s National Women\u2019s Talent Development Manager.\u00a0Fisher will work under the guidance of Head of Women\u2019s Professional Tennis Nicole Pratt, to identify and develop the next generation of Australian female tennis players.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a great honour and very much deserved, well done Fish!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Rohan Fisher who last night was awarded City of Adelaide Sports Awards &#8211; Beyond Bank Coach or Official of the Year!
