{"id":34497,"date":"2026-03-04T10:18:56","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T23:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?page_id=34497"},"modified":"2026-03-30T14:18:27","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T03:48:27","slug":"super-10s-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/players\/children-10u\/super-10s-2","title":{"rendered":"Super 10&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-34509\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/files\/2026\/03\/Super-10s.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/files\/2026\/03\/Super-10s.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/files\/2026\/03\/Super-10s-360x230.jpg 360w, https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/files\/2026\/03\/Super-10s-200x128.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Super 10s in 2026 \u2013 What\u2019s Evolving<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2026, Super 10s will evolve to align with an expanded and strengthened national Green Ball (GB) competition landscape.<\/p>\n<p>With increased quality and volume of local, state and national Green Ball events, Super 10s will continue to play a foundational<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>development<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>role, while ensuring it complements<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>rather than competes with \u2014 competition opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Moving forward, there is clearer role definition across the pathway:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Green Ball events<\/strong>\u00a0will provide the primary<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>competition<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>platform<\/li>\n<li><strong>Super 10s<\/strong>\u00a0will prioritise high-quality<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>development<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>experiences, including training environments, learning-based activities and targeted match play that supports the competition calendar without duplication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This evolution reflects our shared belief and player development philosophy that young athletes thrive best in environments that support learning, enjoyment,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>confidence,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>long-term development, rather than early specialisation or over-competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>New: Super 10s State Green Ball Camps<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From 2026, Super<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>10s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>State<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Green<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Ball<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Camps\u00a0will be introduced to strengthen development opportunities across the year.<\/p>\n<p>These camps are designed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complement (not replace) athletes\u2019 regular coaching environments<\/li>\n<li>Provide exposure to national principles of ecological<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>training<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>design,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>decision-making development, and high-quality learning environments<\/li>\n<li>Progress intentionally toward Green<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Ball<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Nationals<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>in<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>November<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Super<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>10s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Australian<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Open<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>National<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Green<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Ball<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Camp\u00a0will also continue, bringing together selected players and coaches from across the country.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2026 Super 10s Camps &#8211; Selection Day: Sunday 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0May 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each camp will have a particular focus. Selected Players are expected to participate in the whole season (6 camps) unless injuries, travel, sickness.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dates: 6 Camps will be run on Sunday morning between May and Nov 2026.
