{"id":34481,"date":"2026-03-02T16:36:24","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T06:06:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?page_id=34481"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:40:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T06:10:07","slug":"winter-junior-state-league","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/competitions\/winter-competitions\/winter-junior-state-league","title":{"rendered":"Winter Junior State League"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Junior State League is aimed at providing the best junior players in South Australia the opportunity to compete against each other in a weekly competition played over the Winter season.<\/p>\n<p>Junior State League 2 (or JSL2). is aimed to create a pathway for players who have performed well at Association level and are striving to make the Junior State League competition.<\/p>\n<p>The Junior State League competitions are played on Friday nights in a home and away structured competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Key Changes to Winter Junior State League are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clubs may enter multiple teams<\/li>\n<li>Each team must have 5 listed players, these players can not be listed on additional teams. Minimum of 4 matches played to qualify for finals<\/li>\n<li>No changes can occur after nominations close<\/li>\n<li>Must be 10 or older from May 15th<\/li>\n<li>Finals to be hosted by the higher ranked team<\/li>\n<li>Team Fee &#8211; <strong>$200<\/strong> across JSL and JSL 2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><br><br>Key Dates for the 2026 Season:<br>1. Online team nominations open, 23rd March 2026<br>2. Online team nominations close, 6th April 2026.<br>3. First round commencing 15th May.<br>4. Last round to be played on 14th August 2026.<br>5. Finals to be run over 2 weekends, commencing 21st August and Grand Final on the 28th of August<br>6. Matches will not be played over the Kings Birthday weekend 5\/6\/7th June.<br>7.
