These points will create a clear pathway for qualification into the end-of-year State Finals and Nationals.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is designed to support player development and create exciting opportunities within the sport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GBS Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Players will receive points based on their finishing position within each tournament on the South Australian Junior Tour calendar, contributing to their leaderboard standing.<\/p>\n<p>Tournaments can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/players\/tournaments-2\/junior-masters-series-event-calendar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Points will not be allocated for South Australian Junior Development Series (JDS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Age Category<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0qualifying age category for the Green\u00a0Ball Series\u00a0across all tournaments\u00a0will be 10\/u.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tournament Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All GBS Tournaments will be singles only. It is at the discretion of the Tournament whether they will add doubles, however, doubles will not have any points\u00a0allocated\u00a0to it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Points Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each Green Ball Series tournament listed on the endorsed calendar will be assigned the corresponding points for Singles.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winner: 250 points<\/li>\n<li>Runner Up: 125 points<\/li>\n<li>3rd\u00a0and 4th Place: 100 points<\/li>\n<li>5th \u2013 8th Place: 75 points<\/li>\n<li>9th \u2013 16th (in Elimination playoff\u2019s only): 50 points<\/li>\n<li>2nd Place in Round Robin: 30 points<\/li>\n<li>3rd Place in Round Robin: 20 points<\/li>\n<li>4th Place in Round Robin: 10 points<\/li>\n<li>5th and 6th Place in Round Robin: 5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifying Period<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The points qualifying period for the 2026 GBS will be from Thursday 1 January 2026 \u2013 October 9 2026.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>State Finals<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Age Qualification for GBS State Finals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Players to be 10 years or younger as of November 31 2026 (minimum 8 years old at the time of event)<\/p>\n<p><strong>GBS Leaderboards\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Points Race Leaderboards will be published on the following months.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>February, March, May, June and\u00a0July<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The final points race leaderboard will be published in October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GBS State Finals \u2013 Draw Sizes and Acceptance Criteria<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nSouth Australia\u2019s top 16 boys and top 16 girls who have showcased their skills in the 2026 Competitive Play Calendar.<\/p>\n<p>Dates: TBC<\/p>\n<p>Acceptance lists will be as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Top 16 players within Points Race Leaderboard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Players will receive an invitation from Tennis South Australia to State Finals.<\/p>\n<p>Note: This opportunity is exclusively for South Australian Players.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Green Ball Nationals<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>10\/u Green Ball Nationals \u2013 Qualification Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All players who qualify for the event will receive an invitation, which must be accepted in writing.<\/li>\n<li>There are three spots in the draw per gender. The winner of the SA State Finals will get direct acceptance into Green Ball Nationals.
